We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting team operations. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting and compliance, contributing to the company's success by ensuring accurate financial data. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, performing IFRS 16 accounting, and completing period data uploads to consolidation tools.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and experience with applicable accounting systems. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial records and optimize accounting processes.
