Company description
iFixit Handyman Services began as a family-owned and operated handyman business dedicated to addressing home and office repair and improvement needs. We renovated flooded basements and repaired damaged decks and siding after Hurricane Sandy. We assisted apartment residents by fixing holes in their walls, mounting TVs, and painting their spaces to help them feel like home. Our team tackled electrical issues in pre-war buildings, making old units look new by adding fresh flooring and trim. We collaborated with startups like Uber and Outbrain to transform empty buildings into modern offices. We managed corporate apartments, built custom cabinetry for office kitchens, repaired and reorganized cubicles, and helped set up IT equipment and printers. Additionally, we constructed custom display cabinets for cosmetic salons and ensured our team was well-caffeinated by maintaining the computerized espresso machine. In 2016, we expanded into Bucks and Montgomery counties to assist homeowners with a growing demand for services, including replacing garbage disposals, painting homes inside and out, remodeling kitchens, installing new flooring, and creating outdoor spaces by constructing new decks. We restored worn hardwood floors to their former glory, installed electric vehicle chargers, and much more. We have gutted and renovated entire houses, allowing homeowners to truly call them home. iFixit is proud to have worked with thousands of local homeowners and businesses on projects both large and small. Today, iFixit offers a wide range of services, including project management, general construction, landscaping, hardscaping, tree removal, drone inspections for roofs and hard-to-reach areas, aerial real estate photography, and cleaning services, as well as home and building repair, remodeling, and maintenance.
