This role creates impact by enabling individuals to earn income flexibly, providing essential transport in their city, operating in a part-time mode. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a personal or rented eligible 4-door vehicle, ensuring reliable transportation services and a positive passenger experience. - Manage personal driving schedule and availability through the Uber application, maximizing earning potential by responding to ride requests promptly and efficiently. - Adhere to all traffic laws and Uber community guidelines, maintaining high service standards and contributing to a trustworthy and secure platform environment.
- Cash out earnings up to 5 times a day with Instant Pay, providing immediate access to income generated from completed trips. - Maintain complete control over your working schedule, driving when and how much you choose, allowing for full flexibility and personal autonomy. - Access to rental partners for vehicle provision by hour, day, or week, reducing upfront costs and enabling immediate work commencement.
- Possess at least one year of licensed driving experience (three years if under 25) in the US, demonstrating proven on-road capability and adherence to traffic laws. - Utilize an eligible 4-door vehicle and an iPhone or Android smartphone, ensuring operational readiness and seamless interaction with the Uber platform. - Consent to a comprehensive driver screening and background check, upholding safety standards and fostering trust within the Uber driver and rider community.
