Job description

We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items from local merchants to customers, serving as the crucial link between businesses and their patrons. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction and local business success by ensuring timely deliveries in designated work areas, operating in an on-demand, onsite capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Efficiently accept and complete delivery offers using the DoorDash app interface, ensuring prompt pick-up and drop-off to meet service expectations and customer needs. - Utilize GPS navigation systems within the Dasher app for optimal route planning, ensuring timely and accurate arrival at both merchant locations and customer destinations. - Maintain professional communication with customers and support, adhering to safe driving practices to ensure positive delivery experiences and uphold the DoorDash brand reputation.

Job requirements

- Be at least 18 years of age (19 in some states, 21 in California) with legal eligibility to work, ensuring compliance with all local and state labor laws. - Hold a valid driver's license or state-issued ID, coupled with a Social Security Number for successful background verification and regulatory compliance. - Operate a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) for deliveries, alongside a compatible smartphone with data access for the Dasher application.
