We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to provide essential last-mile delivery services, playing a crucial role in connecting local merchants with their customers efficiently. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction and merchant success by ensuring timely deliveries, working onsite in various locations as an independent contractor. Key Responsibilities: - Successfully accept and complete delivery offers, tracking progress and ensuring timely arrival at customer locations using GPS navigation. - Maintain professional conduct and safe driving practices while on the road, effectively communicating with customers and support to resolve delivery issues promptly. - Manage personal delivery schedule autonomously, selecting preferred work areas and optimizing routes to maximize earnings per delivery, including tips.
- Compensation structure includes base pay, performance-based promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips earned. - Enjoy complete flexibility in scheduling work hours, with the autonomy to start and stop delivering anytime without minimum or maximum hour requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (or 19/21 in specific states) to operate as a delivery driver and pass a background check via SSN. - Possess a valid driver's license or ID and a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) along with a smartphone capable of running the Dasher app. - Demonstrate strong professionalism and clear communication skills when interacting with customers and support to ensure a positive delivery experience.
