We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to efficiently transport prepared meals and retail items, seamlessly linking local businesses with customers across various neighborhoods. This role directly contributes to customer satisfaction and merchant success, creating significant impact by ensuring timely deliveries, typically performed onsite with flexible scheduling. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete assigned delivery offers through the Dasher app, ensuring timely pickup from merchants and accurate delivery to customer specified locations. - Navigate efficiently using GPS and in-app tools, adapting to traffic and route changes to meet delivery deadlines and maintain high service standards. - Communicate professionally with customers, merchants, and support, resolving issues promptly to uphold service quality and positive brand perception.
- Receive competitive compensation comprising base pay, promotional incentives like Peak Pay, and retain 100% of all customer-provided tips for every delivery. - Enjoy a fully flexible work schedule with no minimum or maximum hours, allowing drivers to start and stop anytime, choosing their preferred work areas daily.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID, along with a Social Security Number for a mandatory background check, ensuring legal and safe operation. - Utilize a reliable personal vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a compatible smartphone to effectively manage deliveries via the dedicated Dasher app. - Demonstrate professionalism and safe driving practices consistently, ensuring all deliveries are handled with care and customer interactions are courteous.
