We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate the efficient and timely delivery of goods, acting as a crucial link between local merchants and hungry customers across various neighborhoods. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction and merchant success by ensuring prompt deliveries, offering flexible, independent work opportunities onsite in various locations. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers using the Dasher app, ensuring timely pickup from merchants and accurate drop-off to customers to maintain service standards. - Navigate diverse routes efficiently with GPS guidance, communicating proactively with customers and support to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery operations. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to safe driving practices, representing the DoorDash platform positively while on active deliveries.
- Drivers earn base pay per delivery, plus additional promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, and retain 100% of all customer tips received. - Enjoy a fully flexible work schedule with no minimum or maximum hours, allowing drivers to start and stop delivering on-demand at any time.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be at least 18 years old, ensuring eligibility for independent contractor work with DoorDash. - Utilize a reliable personal vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a compatible smartphone to effectively manage delivery assignments through the Dasher app. - Demonstrate professionalism and commit to safe driving practices while engaging with customers and navigating local communities to ensure positive interactions.
