We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate the timely and efficient transfer of goods from local merchants to customers, serving as a vital link in the community's logistical network. This role creates direct impact by ensuring convenient access to local businesses for customers, operating within local areas in a part-time, flexible work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers efficiently via the Dasher app, ensuring all items are picked up and delivered accurately according to customer specifications. - Navigate assigned delivery routes using GPS, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure prompt and secure transportation of goods. - Communicate professionally with customers and support teams to resolve any issues or provide updates, maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- Compensation includes base pay, performance-based promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips directly to the driver. - Enjoy a fully flexible schedule with no minimum or maximum hourly commitments, allowing drivers to start and stop work on-demand at any time.
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 in some states, 21 in California) with a valid driver's license or ID and a Social Security Number for background verification. - Possess a reliable vehicle, such as a car, scooter, or bicycle, and a functional smartphone capable of running the DoorDash Dasher application. - Demonstrate professionalism and maintain safe driving practices while on duty, ensuring courteous interactions and secure deliveries to all customers.
