We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items, acting as a crucial link between local merchants and customers within the DoorDash ecosystem. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction and merchant success by ensuring efficient, reliable deliveries across various local areas, offering an onsite work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers using the Dasher app, efficiently managing routes to ensure timely and accurate customer order fulfillment. - Navigate effectively using GPS and communicate professionally with customers and support, resolving delivery issues to maintain high service standards. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to safe driving practices, ensuring the secure and intact delivery of all items.
- Receive base pay per delivery, plus 100% of all customer tips, with options for fast payouts via the DoorDash Crimson Visa Debit Card. - Benefit from a completely flexible schedule with no minimum or maximum hours, allowing immediate on-demand work activation and deactivation.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID and an SSN for background verification, meeting age requirements (18+, 19+, or 21+ in some states). - Operate a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a compatible smartphone with the Dasher app to facilitate efficient order management. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to safe driving practices during all deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
