We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to efficiently transport orders from various local establishments to customer doorsteps, seamlessly connecting the entire delivery ecosystem. This role directly enhances customer satisfaction and supports local businesses by ensuring timely deliveries, operating on-site as an independent contractor in various locations. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and fulfill delivery requests promptly using the Dasher app, ensuring timely order retrieval and drop-off to maintain customer satisfaction and delivery metrics. - Utilize GPS navigation tools for optimal route planning and communicate effectively with customers and support, enhancing delivery efficiency and problem resolution. - Operate a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) safely and professionally, adhering to traffic laws and company guidelines to ensure secure and efficient transportation.
- Earn competitive base pay for each delivery, supplemented by promotional opportunities like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus retain 100% of all customer tips. - Enjoy complete schedule autonomy, setting your own working hours without minimum or maximum requirements, allowing for on-demand work at any time.
- Possess a valid driver's license (or ID) and meet minimum age requirements (18+, 19+ in some states, 21+ in CA) to operate a vehicle for deliveries. - Operate a reliable personal vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a compatible smartphone, utilizing the Dasher app for all delivery operations. - Demonstrate strong communication skills and maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, merchants, and support, ensuring positive delivery experiences.
