We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items, serving as a crucial link between local businesses and customers. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, operating onsite in various locations with a flexible work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers efficiently using the DoorDash app, tracking order progress to ensure timely customer satisfaction metrics are met. - Navigate safely and effectively using GPS, adhering to all traffic laws and communicating proactively with customers regarding delivery status or delays. - Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service, resolving minor issues on the spot and escalating complex problems to support for resolution.
- Compensation includes a base pay per delivery, additional earnings from promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips. - Enjoy a fully flexible work schedule, allowing you to set your own hours and work on-demand with no minimum or maximum hour requirements.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be at least 18 years old (19 in some states, 21 in CA) for independent contractor eligibility. - Utilize a reliable vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle and own a smartphone capable of running the Dasher app for all delivery operations. - Demonstrate strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and support, alongside safe driving practices to ensure delivery integrity.
