We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate the timely and efficient transfer of goods from local merchants directly to our valued customers. This role creates direct impact by ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting local businesses, operating across various urban and suburban locations in a part-time, flexible arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers, utilizing the DoorDash app efficiently to ensure successful order fulfillment and positive customer experiences. - Navigate via GPS, leveraging routing tools for optimal delivery paths, achieving timely drop-offs and maintaining high service efficiency standards. - Communicate with customers and support proactively, resolving delivery issues to ensure smooth transactions and foster positive service interactions.
- Compensation includes base pay, performance-based promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips. - Offers fully flexible scheduling with no minimum or maximum hours, allowing drivers to work on-demand and start or stop anytime. - Drivers are provided with the Dasher app, an activation kit including a Red Card, a food-warming bag, and in-app safety features.
- Must be 18+ years of age (19 in some states, 21 in California) and possess a valid driver's license or identification card. - Requires a reliable vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle, along with a compatible smartphone for using the Dasher application. - Demonstrate professionalism and safe driving practices, ensuring all deliveries are handled with care and maintaining positive customer interactions.
