We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items from local merchants to customers, seamlessly integrating into our extensive delivery network. This role creates impact by ensuring timely and reliable deliveries, connecting businesses with consumers across various locations in an on-demand, onsite work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers efficiently using the DoorDash app, managing customer expectations and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. - Navigate routes using GPS technology to reach destinations promptly, adhering to traffic laws and maintaining safe driving practices throughout shifts. - Communicate professionally with customers and support teams regarding order status, addressing inquiries to resolve issues for a positive delivery experience.
- Receive base pay for each delivery plus additional earnings from promotions like Peak Pay, Challenges, and 100% of all customer tips. - Enjoy complete flexibility with no minimum or maximum hours, allowing you to start and stop work anytime on an on-demand basis.
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 or 21 in some states) with a valid driver's license or ID and an SSN for background verification. - Possess a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone to effectively utilize the Dasher app for delivery management. - Demonstrate professionalism while interacting with customers and support, coupled with a commitment to safe driving practices during deliveries.
