This role directly enhances customer satisfaction and supports local businesses, performing deliveries in various locations as an onsite independent contractor. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers efficiently using the DoorDash app, ensuring timely and accurate food and item transportation to customer destinations. - Navigate designated delivery routes safely and effectively with GPS guidance, prioritizing road safety and adherence to all traffic regulations for secure transit. - Communicate professionally with customers and support personnel, resolving any delivery-related inquiries or issues to ensure a positive service experience.
- Earn competitive base pay per delivery, supplemented by promotional opportunities like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus retain 100% of all customer tips. - Enjoy complete scheduling flexibility with no minimum or maximum hours required, allowing independent contractors to start and stop work anytime based on personal availability.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be at least 18 years old, with proof of eligibility to work in the relevant geographic location. - Utilize a reliable personal vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a compatible smartphone with the Dasher app installed to manage all delivery operations effectively. - Demonstrate strong professionalism and maintain safe driving practices, ensuring courteous interactions with customers and secure handling of all delivered items.
