We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items from local merchants to customers, efficiently managing routes and orders through our platform. This role creates impact by providing essential delivery services and generating income with full flexibility in your chosen work areas and on your own schedule, in various locations and operating remotely as a contractor. Key Responsibilities: - Efficiently accept and complete delivery offers using the DoorDash app, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to customer satisfaction. - Navigate effectively using GPS technology to optimize delivery routes, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining professionalism during transit. - Clearly communicate with customers and support personnel regarding order status, resolving issues promptly to enhance the overall delivery experience.
- Receive competitive compensation including a base pay per delivery, additional earnings through promotions, and retain 100% of all customer tips received. - Enjoy full schedule flexibility, allowing you to set your own working hours without minimum or maximum requirements, starting and stopping deliveries at will.
- Possess a valid driver's license, social security number for background checks, and a reliable personal vehicle or bicycle for deliveries. - Be at least 18 years of age (19 in some states, 21 in California) and own a smartphone to use the Dasher app for all delivery operations.
