We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of food and various items, serving as a crucial link between local businesses, consumers, and our comprehensive logistics network. This role creates significant impact by providing essential delivery services, enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting merchant operations, working onsite in various locations with a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and diligently complete delivery offers through the Dasher app, ensuring timely pickup from merchants and accurate drop-off to customers. - Navigate effectively using GPS tools and mapping applications, planning optimal routes to ensure efficient, safe, and prompt delivery of orders. - Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and DoorDash support, resolving delivery issues and maintaining a high level of service.
- Earn a competitive base pay for each delivery completed, enhanced by performance-based promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips. - Enjoy complete flexibility to set your own work schedule, choose preferred delivery areas, and start or stop working anytime, with no minimum or maximum hour requirements.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be at least 18 years old (19 or 21 in specific states) to legally operate a vehicle for delivery services. - Own a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) for transportation and a smartphone capable of running the Dasher app for order management and navigation. - Maintain a high degree of professionalism and safe driving practices during all deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to traffic regulations.
