We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items, seamlessly connecting customers with local merchants across various communities. This role creates impact by ensuring timely and safe deliveries, offering crucial convenience to customers in their local areas, operating onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers efficiently via the Dasher app, ensuring prompt service and meeting customer expectations with each order. - Navigate effectively using GPS technology to reach destinations, communicating clearly with customers and support for successful, hassle-free deliveries. - Maintain high standards of professionalism and adhere to safe driving practices, ensuring a positive experience and secure transportation of goods.
- Earn competitive compensation including base pay, performance-based promotions (Peak Pay, Challenges), and retain 100% of all customer tips. - Experience complete scheduling flexibility, allowing independent work on-demand with no set hours or shifts; start and stop deliveries anytime.
- Be at least 18 years old (19/21 in specific states) and provide a Social Security Number for a mandatory background verification process. - Possess a valid driver's license or ID, a reliable vehicle (car/scooter/bicycle), and a smartphone to operate the DoorDash Dasher app. - Maintain a professional demeanor and practice safe driving habits, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient delivery operations always.
