We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to transport orders from local merchants to customers, connecting businesses to their local communities effectively. This role creates impact by ensuring timely deliveries to customers in various neighborhoods, operating in a flexible, independent contractor work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers using the Dasher app, effectively managing tasks and ensuring timely pickup and drop-off to meet customer expectations. - Navigate efficiently to various locations via GPS, meticulously following delivery instructions and maintaining safe driving practices to ensure item integrity and prompt service. - Communicate professionally with customers and support, resolving delivery-related inquiries and providing excellent service to enhance the overall DoorDash user experience.
- Receive competitive compensation including base pay, promotional incentives like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips earned per successful delivery. - Enjoy complete scheduling flexibility with no minimum or maximum hour requirements, allowing drivers to start and stop work anytime based on personal availability.
- Possess a valid driver's license or ID, maintain a clean background check via SSN, and be at least 18 years of age to legally operate a vehicle for deliveries. - Utilize a reliable personal vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone equipped with the DoorDash Dasher app to effectively manage and complete delivery orders. - Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication skills when interacting with customers and DoorDash support, ensuring a positive delivery experience every time.
