This role directly impacts customer satisfaction and merchant success by ensuring timely deliveries across various urban and suburban locations, operating in a flexible, part-time capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Efficiently manage and accept delivery offers using the Dasher app, ensuring timely pickup from merchants and swift transport to customer locations. - Utilize GPS navigation tools for optimal route planning and maintain clear communication with customers and support throughout the delivery process. - Adhere to safe driving practices and DoorDash's professional standards, securing 100% of customer tips and eligible promotional earnings.
- Earn base pay plus promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, retaining 100% of all customer tips for each completed delivery. - Set your own schedule with complete flexibility, allowing you to start and stop anytime with no minimum or maximum hour requirements.
- Must be 18+ years of age (19 in some states, 21 in California) with a valid driver's license or ID for background checks. - Possess a reliable vehicle (car/scooter/bicycle) and a functional smartphone to operate the Dasher app effectively for deliveries. - Demonstrate strong communication skills by interacting professionally with customers and support, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
