We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of food and items, serving as a crucial link between local businesses, customers, and our platform. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction and merchant success by ensuring reliable service, operating onsite at various merchant and customer locations. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers promptly using the DoorDash app, maintaining a high acceptance rate to ensure swift service for customers and merchants. - Navigate efficiently to pickup and drop-off locations using GPS technology, optimizing routes to meet estimated delivery times and ensure customer satisfaction. - Communicate professionally with customers and support staff to resolve delivery issues, providing excellent service while adhering to safe driving practices and company guidelines.
- Compensation structure includes base pay, performance-based promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips for maximized earnings. - Enjoy complete flexibility by setting your own work schedule, choosing specific work areas, and starting/stopping deliveries on-demand at any time without minimum hours.
- Must be 18+ years of age (19 in some states, 21 in CA) and possess a valid driver's license or ID with a Social Security Number for background checks. - Utilize a reliable personal vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a compatible smartphone to effectively manage delivery requests and navigation via the Dasher app. - Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with customers and support, coupled with a commitment to maintaining professionalism and safe driving habits.
