We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of orders, acting as a crucial link connecting local businesses with their customers daily. This role directly enhances customer satisfaction and merchant success, operating independently across various local areas in an onsite, flexible work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers using the Dasher app, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off according to customer specifications and merchant readiness. - Navigate efficiently to customer locations using GPS and in-app tools, verifying order accuracy and maintaining clear communication channels with all parties involved. - Maintain professionalism and adhere to safe driving practices while transporting goods, upholding DoorDash's service standards and ensuring positive customer interactions.
- Receive base pay for every completed delivery plus 100% of all customer tips, with access to promotions like Peak Pay for increased earnings. - Enjoy a fully flexible work schedule with no minimum or maximum hours, allowing drivers to start and stop delivering at their convenience.
- Must be 18+ years old (19 in some states, 21 in California) and possess a valid driver's license or identification for legal operation. - Possess a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone with data, ensuring consistent connectivity for the Dasher application. - Maintain professionalism and safe driving practices, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while upholding DoorDash's service quality standards.
