Job description

We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items from local merchants to customers, serving as a vital link in our on-demand logistics network. This role creates direct customer satisfaction and supports local businesses by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries across {various locales} in an {onsite} capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Efficiently accept and complete delivery offers using the Dasher app, ensuring timely pickup from merchants and accurate drop-off to customers to meet service level agreements. - Safely navigate assigned delivery zones utilizing GPS technology to optimize routes and maintain professionalism during interactions with customers and merchant staff. - Proactively communicate delivery status updates and resolve minor issues with customers and support, maintaining high satisfaction scores and operational efficiency.

Job requirements

- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be at least 18 years old (19 or 21 in specific states) to legally operate a vehicle for delivery services. - Own a reliable vehicle, such as a car, scooter, or bicycle, along with a compatible smartphone to effectively use the Dasher application for delivery assignments. - Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with customers and support, ensuring clear and professional exchanges to resolve delivery inquiries promptly.
