We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and other items from local merchants to customers, facilitating smooth transactions across various neighborhoods. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, operating in a fully flexible, part-time capacity across various locations. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers using the DoorDash app, efficiently managing multiple orders to meet service level agreements. - Navigate delivery routes effectively using GPS, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs while prioritizing road safety and traffic laws. - Communicate clearly with customers and support, providing status updates and resolving delivery-related issues promptly and courteously.
- Compensation includes base pay, promotions like Peak Pay, and 100% of customer tips, with fast payout options via DoorDash Crimson Visa. - Work with a fully flexible schedule, allowing independent contractors to set their own hours, work on-demand, and start or stop anytime.
- Must be at least 18 years old (19/21 in some states), possessing a valid driver's license/ID for legal operation. - Utilize a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone to manage deliveries via the dedicated Dasher app. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and practice safe driving habits during all delivery operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
