We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items from local merchants to customers, serving as a crucial link in our on-demand delivery network. This role creates impact by providing essential delivery services and generating flexible income, operating onsite in various locations with a fully flexible work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and efficiently complete delivery offers using the DoorDash app, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods to customers. - Navigate effectively to delivery locations via GPS and communicate proactively with customers and support to resolve any delivery-related issues. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to safe driving practices, ensuring a positive experience for both merchants and customers.
- Earn competitive compensation including a base pay per delivery, additional earnings from promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, plus 100% of all customer tips. - Enjoy complete schedule flexibility with no minimum or maximum hours, allowing you to start and stop work anytime on an on-demand basis.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be at least 18 years old (19 in some states, 21 in California) for background check processing. - Operate a reliable vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle, and own a compatible smartphone to effectively use the Dasher app for all deliveries. - Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with customers and support, ensuring smooth and successful deliveries.
