We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to seamlessly connect local merchants with customers, playing a crucial role in the efficient operation of our on-demand delivery network. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction by ensuring timely deliveries, offering flexible work across various locations in an onsite, self-scheduled capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and efficiently complete delivery offers using the Dasher app, ensuring timely pickup from merchants and accurate drop-off to customers, meeting service expectations. - Navigate effectively using GPS technology to reach designated locations, safely transporting items while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining a professional driving demeanor. - Communicate proactively with customers and support teams regarding delivery status or issues, resolving concerns politely to ensure a positive and seamless delivery experience.
- Receive 100% of all customer tips on every delivery, significantly enhancing earnings potential alongside base pay and various performance-based promotional bonuses. - Enjoy complete scheduling flexibility, allowing independent contractors to set their own hours, choose preferred work areas, and start or stop delivering at any time.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a Social Security Number for background checks, meeting the minimum age requirement of 18+ years (or 19/21 in specific states). - Operate a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone with the DoorDash app installed, utilizing GPS for efficient navigation and route optimization. - Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills when interacting with customers and support, ensuring safe driving practices to maintain service quality and reputation.
