We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate seamless delivery operations, connecting local businesses with customers efficiently and reliably across various locations. This role directly enhances customer satisfaction and merchant success by ensuring timely deliveries within specific service areas, operating in an onsite capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers, utilizing the DoorDash app to efficiently manage assignments and ensure timely customer service for optimal ratings. - Navigate via GPS, employing real-time mapping tools to accurately reach destinations and optimize delivery routes for speed and precision. - Communicate with customers and support, using in-app messaging to provide updates and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth and professional delivery experience.
- Compensation includes base pay, performance-based promotions (e.g., Peak Pay, Challenges), and 100% of all customer tips directly from deliveries. - Enjoy a fully flexible work schedule, with no minimum or maximum hour requirements, allowing you to start and stop working on-demand at any time.
- Must be 18+ years old (19 in some states, 21 in California) with a valid driver's license or ID for eligibility and background checks. - Possess a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone with the Dasher app installed to manage delivery tasks effectively. - Maintain professionalism and safe driving practices while on the road, demonstrating responsibility and attention to detail during all delivery operations.
