We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to efficiently transport orders from various local merchants to customers, serving as a crucial link in the on-demand delivery ecosystem. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction and merchant success by ensuring timely delivery in local areas, operating in an onsite and independent work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers using the Dasher app, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations. - Navigate efficiently using GPS while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining safe driving practices, prioritizing safety for all road users. - Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and support personnel, resolving delivery issues and enhancing the overall service experience.
- Earn competitive base pay per delivery, enhanced with promotions like Peak Pay, Challenges, and 100% of all customer tips. - Work with complete flexibility, setting your own hours with no minimum or maximum requirements, allowing you to start and stop anytime.
- Possess a valid driver's license (or ID) and Social Security Number (SSN) for background checks, with a minimum age requirement of 18 (21 in CA). - Operate a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone capable of running the Dasher app for all delivery tasks. - Demonstrate strong professionalism and safe driving habits, ensuring efficient and secure transport of items from merchants to customers.
