We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate seamless connections between local merchants and customers, operating independently across various locations and schedules. This role creates essential community impact by enabling timely food and item deliveries, primarily within designated local areas, operating remotely and on-demand. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and complete delivery offers efficiently using the Dasher app, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders. - Navigate assigned delivery areas proficiently via GPS, communicating proactively with customers and support to resolve any delivery issues. - Maintain high standards of professionalism and safe driving practices, adhering to all traffic laws and DoorDash service guidelines.
- Retain 100% of customer tips, supplementing base pay and promotional earnings through performance incentives. - Enjoy complete flexibility to set your own work schedule, with no minimum or maximum hours, starting and stopping anytime.
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID, along with a Social Security Number for a mandatory background check process. - Operate a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a smartphone to manage deliveries via the dedicated Dasher app. - Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication skills when interacting with customers and DoorDash support personnel during deliveries.
