We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to facilitate the seamless connection between local merchants and customers, operating independently to ensure timely service. This role creates impact by providing convenient delivery solutions across various neighborhoods, acting as a crucial link in the local economy, with drivers operating as independent contractors remotely and onsite.Key Responsibilities: - Accept and efficiently complete delivery offers using the DoorDash app, maintaining a high acceptance rate and ensuring prompt customer service. - Navigate delivery routes effectively using GPS guidance, verifying accurate addresses and optimizing travel time for multiple orders. - Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and support, resolving delivery issues and maintaining positive service interactions.
- Earn base pay per delivery, plus access to promotions like Peak Pay and Challenges, and retain 100% of all customer tips. - Enjoy a fully flexible work schedule with no minimum or maximum hours required, allowing you to start and stop delivering anytime.
- Must be 18+ years old (19 in some states, 21 in California) with a valid driver's license or ID and SSN for background checks. - Possess a reliable vehicle, such as a car, scooter, or bicycle, along with a compatible smartphone to run the Dasher app. - Maintain professionalism and safe driving practices at all times, ensuring efficient and secure delivery of all customer orders.
