We're hiring a Food Delivery Driver to independently deliver food and items, acting as a crucial link between local merchants and customers within the DoorDash ecosystem. This role directly enhances customer satisfaction and supports local businesses by ensuring timely deliveries, operating remotely and flexibly on-demand. Key Responsibilities: - Accept and efficiently complete delivery offers using the DoorDash app, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off to achieve high customer satisfaction ratings. - Navigate efficiently using in-app GPS and communicate clearly with customers and support to resolve issues promptly, maintaining delivery schedule adherence. - Maintain professional conduct and safe driving practices throughout all deliveries, upholding DoorDash's service standards and ensuring secure item transport.
- Earn a competitive base pay per delivery supplemented by 100% of customer tips and performance-based promotions like Peak Pay. - Enjoy complete schedule flexibility, allowing you to work on-demand with no set minimum or maximum hours, starting and stopping freely.
- Be at least 18 years old (19 in some states, 21 in California) and successfully pass a background check using a valid Social Security Number. - Possess a valid driver's license or state ID, along with a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) and a compatible smartphone for deliveries. - Demonstrate strong communication skills for interacting with customers and support, maintaining professionalism and safe driving at all times.
