Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a personal or rented vehicle to transport passengers or goods, adhering strictly to local traffic laws and Uber's community guidelines to ensure reliable service delivery. - Manage personal driving schedule and availability through the Uber app, optimizing time and routes to maximize earnings and fulfill demand efficiently. - Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and customer service, aiming for positive rider/customer feedback to enhance platform reputation and personal ratings.
- Rapidly access earned funds up to 5 times daily via Instant Pay, providing immediate liquidity for personal financial management. - Control personal work schedule and driving frequency, allowing complete autonomy to balance earning potential with personal commitments. - Access vehicle rental partnerships through Uber to facilitate driving for those without a personal car, available hourly, daily, or weekly.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US, with 3 years required for drivers under 25 years old, demonstrating road proficiency. - Operate an eligible 4-door vehicle and utilize an iPhone or Android smartphone to manage rides and deliveries through the dedicated Uber driver application. - Consent to and successfully pass a comprehensive driver screening and background check, ensuring compliance with safety and trust standards for all users.
