This role offers the opportunity to independently manage your schedule and income, contributing to urban mobility across various locations, operating in a highly flexible mode. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a personal or rented vehicle to transport passengers or deliver items using the Uber app, ensuring timely arrivals and adherence to local traffic regulations. - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing courteous service, confirming destinations, and responding professionally to any passenger inquiries or requests. - Systematically track and manage earnings through the Instant Pay feature, regularly cashing out up to five times daily to optimize personal financial liquidity.
- Access flexible payment options including Instant Pay, allowing drivers to cash out their earnings up to five times per day for immediate financial access. - Enjoy complete autonomy over your work schedule and earning potential, choosing when, where, and how much you drive to fit personal commitments. - Utilize Uber's network of rental partners to secure an eligible vehicle by the hour, day, or week, reducing personal vehicle ownership costs and barriers.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US, with 3 years required for drivers under 25 years old, ensuring driving proficiency. - Own or have access to an an eligible 4-door vehicle and a compatible iPhone or Android smartphone, facilitating reliable service delivery and app functionality. - Consent to a comprehensive driver screening and background check, demonstrating commitment to safety and adherence to Uber's operational standards.
