We're hiring a Driver to join the Uber platform, acting as an independent contractor to provide transportation services. This role offers flexibility in your schedule and location, allowing you to earn income on your terms. This role creates impact by connecting riders with transportation in various cities, and drivers can work remotely or on-site depending on their preference. Key Responsibilities: - Provide safe and reliable transportation services to riders, adhering to Uber's community guidelines and traffic laws. - Efficiently navigate to pickup and drop-off locations using a smartphone app, ensuring timely service for customers. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it meets Uber's standards for a positive rider experience.
- Cash out earnings up to 5 times a day with Instant Pay, offering immediate access to your earned money. - Be your own boss and decide your own hours and how much you want to drive and earn, providing ultimate schedule flexibility. - Access to rental partners for vehicles by the hour, day, or week if you do not own a car, reducing barriers to entry.
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25 years old). - Use an eligible 4-door vehicle and possess a valid US Driver\'s license, proof of residency, and vehicle insurance if applicable. - Consent to driver screening and background check, and have an iPhone or Android smartphone for app usage.
