We're hiring a Driver to provide transportation services or deliveries, operating independently to manage personal schedules and contribute to a vast network across local communities. This role creates impact by offering convenient, reliable services, enhancing urban connectivity for customers and generating income for drivers, primarily onsite in various city locations. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a personal or rented eligible 4-door vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and Uber platform guidelines to ensure secure, efficient passenger transportation. - Manage and optimize your driving schedule through the Uber application, responding to ride requests promptly to maximize earning potential and maintain service availability. - Facilitate seamless customer experiences, utilizing smartphone technology for navigation and communication, while completing driver screenings and vehicle checks for compliance.
- Access immediate earnings up to 5 times daily via Instant Pay, providing quick financial liquidity and supporting efficient personal cash flow management options. - Utilize Uber's rental partners to secure a vehicle by the hour, day, or week, offering flexible car access for those without personal transportation.
- Possess a minimum of one year of licensed driving experience (or three years if under 25) with a valid US Driver’s license for safe, qualified operation. - Own or have access to an eligible 4-door vehicle and an iPhone or Android smartphone to facilitate essential platform communication and navigation functions. - Consent to and successfully pass a comprehensive driver screening and background check, demonstrating reliability and adherence to safety standards for all users.
