Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers to their destinations using personal or rented eligible 4-door vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and local regulations for optimal service delivery. - Manage personal driving schedule and availability through the Uber application, leveraging the platform's tools to maximize earnings and maintain work-life balance. - Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and customer service, ensuring a pleasant experience for riders and positively representing the Uber brand image.
- Access to Instant Pay, allowing cash withdrawals up to 5 times daily, providing immediate financial liquidity for drivers managing their earnings. - Flexibility to decide driving hours and access to rental partners for eligible vehicles, offering options for those without personal cars. - Comprehensive support and assistance provided throughout the registration process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new drivers on the platform.
- Possess at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US; three years if under 25 years old, demonstrating basic road competency. - Operate an eligible 4-door vehicle and own an iPhone or Android smartphone, essential tools for platform connectivity and service delivery. - Consent to a driver screening and background check, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all drivers.
