An international fashion retailer in the Netherlands with presence in multiple countries is researching to entry new regions and now specifically a potential entry to the Czech Republic. For this, we will start with market research to define our go-to-market plan. The retailer has a service office in the Netherlands which will be leading and guiding this research.
An assessment needs to be made of the specific country with an evaluation if we can find a good match with our formula, target audience, competitive position, real estate market, labour market, business requirements etc.
Your application will be forwarded directly to the hiring manager of this company – there is no recruitment agency in between.
Your role as a Country Market Researcher
For this, we seek a candidate to conduct the desk research of the evaluation, remotely.
In this research the following topics will be evaluated and detailed:
Market review: Demographics, population, HH income, (un-)employment, customer spending’s to textiles / non-textiles, regional differences and potential areas.
Competitor landscape, real- estate market status, workforce/ labour-evaluation, requirements to operate etc.
It will be finished with a clear conclusion and recommendation for our potential entry-plan.

What are we looking for?
An end-phase student in Business administration or Economics at University level.
Good analytical skills and good verbal (fluent in English and Czech), writing and visualization skills.
Relevant experience in elaborating market studies.
Good knowledge of the Czech retail market.
Independent and self-steering personality.
50 – 75% dedication for approximately 2 months, with a start asap.
